WHAT IS A CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.  CSA is a crop share opportunity provided by a farmer that allows customers to purchase a share of fruits and vegetables in springtime, and receive produce all summer through fall.  This direct relationship between a consumer and the farm is the best way to eat the freshest most delicious fruits and vegetables week after week.

We offer 2 CSA share sizes for our fruit and vegetable CSA.  Our small share is a 1/2 bushel basket and the large share size is a full bushel basket.

At the start of our CSA season we provide you with the correct size basket when you come for your first CSA share pick up.  You then own your basket and can decorate your basket to your desire if you wish.  OUR CSA SHARES ARE NOT PRE-PACKED!  when you come to our farm for your CSA we let you pack your share basket right off our shelves.  This way you are getting the freshest produce in your share and you do not have to take any vegetables or fruit you may not like.

Our CSA members pick up a share of produce once a week for 18-21 weeks.  We also allow our members to come in either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday each week and are not locked into a certain day every week.

Produce you can expect to see on our shelves throughout the season:  Cabbage, cauliflower, kale, broccoli, brussel sprouts, swish chard, bok choi, lettuce/greens, radish, carrots, potatoes, blueberries, raspberries, apples, peaches, pears, cherries, zucchini, summer squash, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, corn, watermelon, cantaloupe, leeks, beans, beets, herbs, onions, spinach, butternut squash, pumpkins, acorn squash, delicata squash, blue Hubbard, butter cup, turnips, tomatoes, and more!  There will also be multiple varieties of lots of these items.    WE USE NON GMO SEED..
